Empowering dreams

By Seguya Ivan | Organization founder

Dear Esteemed Donors,

We hope this message finds you well and inspired by the incredible impact we can create together. Today, we write to share an exciting and transformative initiative from our vocational program—one that aims to empower 40 school dropout girls with the skills, tools, and confidence they need to build sustainable futures.

The Challenge

In our community, many young girls are forced to drop out of school due to financial hardship, early marriages, or familial responsibilities. Without education or marketable skills, they face limited opportunities, economic vulnerability, and a cycle of poverty that is difficult to break.

Our Solution: A Path to Sustainability

Our vocational program is designed to provide these girls with a second chance—a practical, hands-on training in sewing and tailoring. Over the course of six months, participants will learn:

· Basic and advanced sewing techniques

· Garment design and production

· Entrepreneurship and financial management

· Quality control and customer service

But we believe that training alone is not enough. To truly enable these girls to achieve self-reliance, we plan to equip each graduate with her own sewing machine. This critical tool will allow them to start small businesses, generate income, and support themselves and their families long after the program ends.

Our Goal

With your generous support, we aim to:

1. Train 40 school dropout girls in sewing and entrepreneurship.

2. Provide each graduate with a sewing machine to kickstart her journey toward financial independence.

3. Offer mentorship and follow-up support to ensure their success in the competitive market.

Why This Matters

By investing in these 40 girls, you are not just teaching a skill—you are restoring dignity, fostering independence, and creating ripple effects of positive change in their families and communities. Each sewing machine represents a lifeline—a means to earn a living, educate their children, and contribute to local economic growth.

How You Can Help

· we will fund one sewing machine for a graduate.

· A gift will cover the full cost of one girl’s training and her sewing machine.

· Any contribution, no matter the size, will bring us closer to our goal of empowering 40 girls.

We invite you to be a part of this life-changing journey. Together, we can stitch together futures filled with hope, opportunity, and sustainability.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Seguya Ivan founder f ssibu mission foundation
