Keep her in school

Dear Generous Donors,

I write to you with a heartfelt appeal regarding a fundamental need that many of us take for granted: a safe, comfortable place to sleep. I must share with you the difficult reality our children face each night.

Currently, the beds meant to be their havens of rest are in a state of profound disrepair. The mattresses they sleep on are decades old, sagging deeply in the center, offering no support for growing bodies. The thin, worn-out fabric is torn in places, with coarse, exposed padding. The blankets, their only defense against the cold, are threadbare and frayed, too thin to provide genuine warmth.

You can see the toll this takes. In the mornings, children often wake unrested, rubbing sore backs and shoulders. This broken sleep impacts their concentration in class, their energy for play, and their overall well-being. No child should have to end their day dreading an uncomfortable, cold bed.

The "new" mattress and blanket some have received are, tragically, merely hand-me-downs already worn thin, offering little improvement. This is not a matter of wanting luxury; it is about providing the basic dignity of rest essential for a child’s health and development.

With your support, we can transform their nights. A donation dedicated to new, supportive mattresses and warm, thick blankets will do more than just furnish a room it will give these children the profound security and deep, restorative sleep they desperately need and deserve.
