As our community’s children prepare to return to the classroom, our hearts are filled with both hope and urgency. While this is a time of excitement, we must be honest: we still lack almost everything to support them.
Many children will return without the basic supplies they need to learn. Classrooms are in need of essential resources, from books and writing materials to adequate seating and learning aids. For the most vulnerable, even a proper school bag or uniform remains out of reach.
