She is ten years old. She sees the world in dazzling patterns we cannot imagine. She is autistic, beautiful, and utterly dependent on the grace of one person: her elderly grandmother.
Her mother’s mind was stolen by severe mental illness. Her father abandoned them both. The weight on this grandmother’s shoulders is crushing love strained by poverty, age, and despair.
With your compassionate gift, we will lift this burden. We will ensure Kemi receives the therapeutic care and necessities she needs to thrive. Crucially, we will empower her grandmother. We will provide seed capital to start a small, sustainable business a market stall, perhaps to turn her ceaseless love into lasting income and dignity.
