Dear supporter
I am writing to share a story of hope—a story made possible by your generosity.
Her name is Prossy. She is seven years old, the second-born in her family, and a pupil in Primary One at Mwanyagiri Primary School, a school nestled right within her own community.
We first met Prossy when she was just six. Life had been incredibly hard for her family, and the weight of poverty had stolen something precious from her: her smile. At an age when she should have been learning her ABCs, she wasn't in school at all.
When our team visited her home, she was quiet, her little face clouded by the struggles she didn't fully understand. But when we explained that because of people like you, she would finally go to school—that tiny face transformed. For the first time, we saw it: a wide, beautiful smile. You rescued it.
Today, Prossy is thriving at Mwanyagiri Primary. She walks to school with purpose, her uniform neat, her mind eager. That quiet girl now beams with joy whenever we visit, a joy that exists solely because you cared enough to intervene.
Prossy's smile is a direct result of your kindness. Thank you for giving a child back her childhood and her future.
