Dear Donor,
Today was meant to be a day of hope during our regular visit with the girls in our program. Instead, my heart is heavy.
We were visited by three girls from the community of which,We were surprised by devastating news that stopped us in our tracks: three of our girls in the picture the older is pregnant at age of 15 years.
Her story is one we hear too often. She didn’t choose this path. Poverty stole her childhood first, forcing her to drop out of school. With no education and no safety net, she became vulnerable—and ultimately, she was exploited and impregnated. Her dreams weren't just paused; they were stolen from her.
When I looked into her eyes today, I didn't see the playful girl we once knew. I saw confusion, fear, and a shame that should never belong to a child.
But here is where you come in.
With your continued support, we refuse to let this be the end of her story. We are stepping in immediately to provide the medical care, counseling, and vocational training she will desperately need. We want to help her reclaim the life that was taken from her, to show her that being a mother at 15 does not mean the death of her future.
We cannot undo what happened, but together, we can help her write a new chapter. Please, stand with us to revive the hope that was stolen from these girls.
