Every pack you helped fund reached not just a girl—but her mother, too. In the video below, you’ll see a mother hold a sanitary pad like it’s made of gold. Because where we work, pads are a luxury. Most families choose food or soap first. A girl’s period? It’s endured in silence, often with rags or ash.
Girls resort to old clothes which sometimes cause them effictions.
One girl told us, “Mama cried when she saw the pads. She said, ‘Now you can stay in school.’”
That moment—a mother’s relief, a daughter’s hope—is your doing. But for every girl we reached, another stays home. The need remains high. You committed to help us bridge this gap. Please watch the distribution video. See the luxury of a simple pad through their eyes. Then give again. No mother should have to choose between feeding her child and keeping her in class. No girl should have to choose her period over her future.
Thank you for keeping these in school with dignity
Gratitude from,
