Your investment does not stop with direct participants. Mentored girls become advocates for others.
In the last year, 82 mentored girls spoke publicly in community meetings against early marriage. Village leaders reported that over 300 non-participant girls delayed marriage simply after seeing mentored peers remain in school. Most significantly, 14 families completely reversed planned early marriages after a mentor facilitated a family dialogue.
This is leverage. Every dollar you gave multiplied its impact across entire communities, not just individual girls.
Financial Stewardship: Where Your Money Went
We believe in complete transparency. Of every dollar you donated:
· went directly paid mentor salaries and training, supporting 15 part-time community mentors.
· purchased school supplies and hygiene kits, including books, uniforms, and sanitary pads.
· funded emergency interventions such as legal aid, temporary housing for fleeing girls, and family mediation.
· supported monitoring, attendance tracking, and impact surveys to ensure accountability.
Administrative overhead remains below , as our organization is volunteer-run wherever possible.
Our Ask Moving Forward
The results are clear: mentorship works. But for every girl we reach, three more are waiting.
Your gift has brought hope that can keep one girl in school with a mentor for one full year. This covers her supplies, her mentor’s time, and emergency backup support.
Your gift has trained one new community mentor, who will then reach fifteen girls annually. That mentor will serve her own village for years to come.
Your gift of funds has impacted entire village’s mentorship program, protecting approximately 75 girls from early marriage over the next twelve months.
Conclusion
You did not just write a check. You gave a 13-year-old the right to say, “Not yet. I am a student first.” You gave a married adolescent the courage to return to class. You gave an entire community proof that girls belong in school, not in weddings.
