Dear Valued Donor,
As the holiday season approaches, we write to share a critical update on the children we serve—and to respectfully request your continued partnership.
As you know, most of these children live with carefully vetted caregivers in safe, stable placements that we regularly monitor. While we have confirmed their well-being, we recognize that the transition home for the holidays presents unique challenges. Many caregivers lack the resources to adequately equip children during this time—whether with basic necessities, learning materials, or emotional support. Our commitment, therefore, extends beyond mere placement: we must actively equip these caregivers so that every child returns to a nurturing, prepared environment.
In tandem with this effort, we are urgently clearing outstanding meal debts at the schools our children attend. Recently, thanks to your generosity, we successfully settled all school fees. However, meal programs operate separately, and accumulated arrears now threaten continued access to daily nutrition. We are pleased to report that we are in the final stage of resolving these bills—but we cannot complete this without you.
Clearing these meal debts is not merely a financial transaction; it is a promise that no child will go hungry during the school day or return to a caregiver burdened by unpaid obligations. It is also a prerequisite for a truly restorative holiday break, free from the stress of unresolved debt.
Therefore, we call upon your steadfast support once more. Your gift—of any amount—will directly clear meal bills and provide caregivers with practical resources (food staples, hygiene kits, small stipends) to welcome children home with dignity and readiness.
