Through our Children’s Route Impact Review, we’ve taken a hard look at the daily journeys your support helps transform. Thanks to you, we’re able to conduct this review—and what we’ve found is clear: your generosity is genuinely improving the lives of vulnerable children.
Right now, in the communities we serve, many children—especially girls—walk hours each day just to fetch water. These long, exhausting routes take a heavy toll. They miss school, carry loads that strain their young bodies, and lose time that could be spent learning or playing. But with your continued support, we want to change that. We aim to stop these long-distance walks for water.
When we succeed, the impact will be life-changing. These girls won’t just gain hours in their day—they’ll gain a future. Without the daily grind of water collection, they can attend school regularly, focus on their studies, and develop mentally. No more arriving to class exhausted or absent altogether. Their health will improve too, as they will drink clean, safe water from nearby sources instead of contaminated alternatives, reducing waterborne diseases and physical strain.
This is more than infrastructure. It’s about restoring childhood, dignity, and opportunity. Your support has already started this ripple of change. Now, we ask you to stand with us to finish what we’ve started. Together, we can replace long, dangerous treks with safe, short walks to clean water—empowering girls to grow strong in mind and body. Thank you for walking with us, every step of the way.
