With just 20 days left before schools reopen, we are facing a race against time. More than 80 children—most of them girls—are counting on us to return to class. But returning isn’t as simple as walking through the school gates. Each child needs a full set of books, shoes, socks, daily meals at school, weekly monitoring, and ongoing mentorship.
These are not luxuries. They are lifelines. Without books, a child cannot learn. Without shoes and socks, many walk miles on rough roads in pain. Without daily meals, hunger becomes the loudest teacher in the room. Without monitoring and mentorship, too many fall through the cracks—especially girls who face early marriage, household labor, or simply being told their education doesn’t matter.
Your generosity has already helped us pull children back from the edge. Because of you, some have stayed in school, passed exams, and begun to dream again. But the need has not stopped. With 80 children to prepare in 20 days, we are asking for our continued partnership.
Together, we can rescue another child from dropout. Keep another girl in her desk. Promote education as the most powerful force against poverty. We know the days are short and the list is long. But we also know what happens when generous people refuse to look away.
Let’s keep them learning. Let’s keep them safe. Let’s write a different future—one child, one book, one meal at a time. Will you stand with us again today?
