As we prepare for the upcoming back-to-school season, we invite you to stand with us once again. Our next outreach will focus on distributing free menstrual pads to girls and women in Kirimwa Village and Kamuli Village. During our last mission, we discovered a deeply concerning reality: a significant number of school-aged girls in these communities regularly miss classes simply because they lack access to basic menstrual hygiene products.
This absence from school does not stem from a lack of academic ambition, but from a lack of resources. Without proper sanitary pads, many young girls choose to stay home for several days each month, falling behind in their studies and, in some cases, dropping out entirely. Women in the community face similar challenges, affecting their daily work, dignity, and overall well-being.
With your continued support, we aim to directly impact the lives of 200 girls and 100 women by providing them with free, high-quality menstrual pads. This initiative goes beyond hygiene—it is about keeping girls in the classroom, protecting their right to education, and restoring dignity to women who have long managed this challenge in silence.
Reliable menstrual health is foundational to gender equality and community development. When a girl has access to sanitary products, she attends school consistently. When a woman has that same access, she can work, care for her family, and participate fully in community life without interruption.
We have already identified the beneficiaries in both villages and established a distribution plan to ensure efficiency, respect, and privacy. However, we cannot do this without you. Your partnership—whether through financial support, product donations, or advocacy—enables us to reach every single one of these 300 individuals.
Join us in breaking the cycle of period poverty. Together, we can ensure that no girl misses school and no woman loses her dignity simply because of her monthly cycle. Let’s stand with Kirimwa and Kamuli Villages as they head back to school—strong, prepared, and supported.
Thank you for standing with us.
