This correspondence serves to introduce Getrude, a young girl you have generously supported since 2023. Thanks to your sponsorship, she is currently enrolled in Primary 2 and making steady academic progress.
Prior to her admission into our program, Getrude was living in a poor family that could not afford her school fees. As a result, she remained at home without studying. She had also been abandoned by her father and left under the sole care of her mother, who lacked the financial means to provide for her education.
Through your partnership, Getrude has received shelter, food, educational support, medical care, and ongoing mentorship. These provisions have afforded her stability, dignity, and a viable path toward a better future.
As schools reopen for the new term, we urgently request your support to help Getrude return to the classroom. Your continued generosity will directly fund her daily necessities, including nutritious meals, learning materials, healthcare, and emotional guidance—ensuring she does not stay home again but remains safely enrolled in school.
Education remains the most effective pathway out of poverty. With your help this reopening term, Getrude will not be left behind. We extend our sincere gratitude for your unwavering compassion and commitment.
