Today, we took an important step toward improving safety at our school by purchasing essential tools and antibacterial detergent. These supplies are part of a proactive effort to help prevent the spread of Ebola, a severe viral illness that spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids. While Ebola is not an airborne virus, it can survive on contaminated surfaces, making hygiene and proper cleaning critical in a school environment where hundreds of students and staff interact daily.
The antibacterial detergent will be used to regularly disinfect shared surfaces—desks, door handles, restroom fixtures, and cafeteria tables—reducing the risk of surface transmission. Additionally, the tools we acquired include sprayers, gloves, and protective covers to ensure that cleaning is done safely and effectively. By integrating these measures into our daily routine, we aim to build a culture of hygiene and awareness. Proper handwashing, surface cleaning, and quick isolation of anyone showing symptoms are key components of our strategy. With these new resources, we are not only responding to a potential threat but also fostering long-term habits that protect the entire school community from infectious diseases.
Every small action today helps safeguard our collective health tomorrow. Finally, we extend our deepest gratitude to our generous donors—without your support, none of this would have been possible. Thank you for helping protect our school.
