Today, we successfully purchased 144 menstrual pads, which will be delivered soon. This brings the total supplies acquired to date, ensuring that 280 children across Mwanyagiri Village and Kirimwa Village will benefit directly. Access to menstrual hygiene products remains a significant challenge in these communities, often causing girls to miss school or drop out entirely. By providing these essential pads, we are helping to remove that barrier, allowing girls to attend classes with dignity and confidence.
Each pack distributed means a girl can manage her monthly cycle without fear of shame or interruption to her education. Our goal is not only to meet immediate needs but also to foster long-term change—breaking the stigma around menstruation and encouraging conversations that empower both girls and boys. We are grateful for the support that made this purchase possible. However, much more remains to be done. With 280 children now covered, we look ahead to reaching even more young people in neighboring villages. Every pad delivered is a step toward gender equality in education and health. Together, we can build a future where no child misses school because of something as natural as a period.
Thanks for your generosity
