Dear Donors,
On behalf of the Namwendwa community, we extend our deepest gratitude for your generous contribution. Thanks to your support, we successfully completed the distribution of 340 pairs of durable school shoes to all enrolled children at Namwendwa Primary School and three surrounding early learning centers.
The exercise took place on May 25, 2026, at the village assembly grounds. Each child was individually fitted to ensure comfort and longevity. Crucially, our follow-up attendance monitoring over the past four days shows a 98% school attendance rate—up from 82% prior to distribution. Foot-related health issues, previously a major cause of absenteeism, have already dropped significantly.
Beyond attendance, the children now walk the 3–5 km commute with dignity and safety, protected from jiggers, mud, and sharp terrain. Parents report renewed motivation to keep their children in class.
Your investment has directly removed a key barrier to education. We will provide a six-month impact update in November. Thank you for making every child in Namwendwa visible and valued at school.
With respect,
F SSIBU MISSION FOUNDATION-UGANDA
