Program Update: Children Returning for the Holidays

As the school term draws to a close, the children enrolled under our sponsorship and welfare programs are returning home for the holiday period. This is ordinarily a season of reunion and rest, yet for many of these children, it also marks a period of vulnerability. Away from the structure, meals, and support systems provided at school, families already stretched thin by economic hardship often struggle to meet the additional needs the holidays bring.

To ensure that this homecoming remains a season of safety, dignity, and continuity of care, F Ssibu Mission Foundation is preparing to equip each returning child with the essentials required to see them safely through the break.

Where Your Support Is Needed

This funds will support four critical areas affecting our children during the holiday period:

Food — Nutritious meals to sustain each child through the holiday period, easing pressure on already stretched households.

Medication — Essential health and medical support for children who require ongoing or urgent care.

Mentorship & Counselling — Trained counsellors engaged to guide and mentor children through this transitional period, supporting their emotional wellbeing.

Menstrual Pads — Menstrual hygiene supplies for our girls, allowing them to manage their health with dignity and without interruption to their routine.

Every contribution  translates directly into full stomachs, healthier bodies, steadier minds, and a sense of security for children who have already overcome significant hardship to remain in school. Your gift allows F Ssibu Mission Foundation to extend the same standard of care our children receive during the school term into the holiday period, so that progress made throughout the year is not undone by a few weeks without support.
