For many participants, especially school dropouts and girls facing difficult circumstances, tailoring provides a practical pathway through which they can develop abilities that may support future income generation.

The girls are learning how to handle sewing machines, measure materials, cut fabric, follow simple designs, stitch different materials, and improve the finishing of their work. As they practice, their confidence and accuracy continue to grow. Each completed piece demonstrates not only technical improvement but also determination and patience.

The training environment encourages girls to learn from one another and support their peers. Those who develop confidence in particular techniques can demonstrate them to others, creating a culture of teamwork and shared learning.

Tailoring also has potential for long-term development. With additional training and entrepreneurial guidance, girls can explore opportunities such as making clothes, school uniforms, bags, reusable menstrual products, household items, and other products that may have demand within their communities.

Our vision is to equip more girls and school dropouts with vocational skills that can strengthen their ability to become self-reliant. We want participants to leave the program with practical knowledge, confidence, and a foundation upon which they can continue building.
