Keep her in school

Our vocational empowerment project is creating opportunities for girls and school dropouts to develop practical skills in beauty and personal care. Through hands-on training, participants are gaining knowledge in hair care, styling, grooming, basic beauty services, and responsible use of beauty equipment.

The girls are showing encouraging improvement as they move from observing demonstrations to practicing techniques themselves. They are becoming more confident in handling tools, following instructions, working carefully, and creating different styles. This practical progress is helping many participants recognize that they have talents that can be developed further.

Beauty and personal care skills can provide flexible livelihood possibilities. A trained girl may eventually seek employment in a salon, provide services from home, or develop a small mobile beauty service. With additional entrepreneurship training, she can also learn how to manage customers, calculate costs, save income, and gradually grow a small business.

For girls who have left school, these opportunities can be especially valuable. The project provides an environment where they can continue learning, develop confidence, and prepare for productive participation in their communities.

Our goal is to expand vocational training to more girls who have limited access to education and employment opportunities. We believe practical skills should be accompanied by mentorship, life-skills education, entrepreneurship guidance, and access to the basic tools required to practice.
