Promoting Principle of Scouting
With support from GlobalGiving, Kole intellectual Forum is promoting scouting, a movement that is honored by its Guiding Promise that serves as a voluntary, personal, and solemn commitment made by members at the beginning of their journey to embody the values of the Scouting and its movement
The key concept is like a moral compass or "guide" for life, encouraging young people to strive for self-improvement and service rather than perfection.
Generally speaking, as Kole Intellectual Forum the promise focuses on duty to God/beliefs, duty to one's country, and helping others while obeying the Scout/Guide Law.

Field Tour by Students of KIFA
With aim of strengthen students’ bonds and reinforce classroom studies: Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) – Institute of Home Economics, yearly organizes educational trips purposely designed to enhance learning outside the classroom, promoting teamwork, critical thinking, and engaging them into new learning environments. These trips are mainly ranged for local areas of interest although there is also interest to expose them beyond that.
The main goal of this approach is to provide them with experiential learning, helping them to connect theoretical classroom concepts to real-world applications; as well as promoting social development, independence, and a change of scenery
This time around according to this report, the students in the place where they took the photo was Kole District local Government; where they were taken to visit and see what services are provided for by the Local Governments in Uganda.

The story of hope from the Interested Josephine
The little lovely Josephine (not her real name) hailed from a single but interesting parent that love to see hope in her children. It was last academic year 2025 for the Institute of Home Economics - Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA) that her younger sister was admitted at, and she used to come to the Institute either to visit the sister or to come and pick her on a bicycle.
She used to take the responsibility of their parents and at the same time picked the interest to join the Institute. Without being introduced to the Institute by anybody, she approached the Principal of the Institute on several occasions and saw the interest of joining the Institute in 2026.
She was then considered because of her committed and because being a responsible child. Today (2026), she is now a student of the Institute of Home Economics, love by the management and she has a full page of hope to complete her study and do a lot to support her single mother.
