Promoting parents-teachers meeting: A search for positive change
Basing on the argument that: the primary objectives of parent-teacher meetings are to establish effective communication channels between educators and parents, providing a platform for mutual understanding and collaboration in the best interest of the student; Kole Intellectual Forum is trying to facilitate this type of program in hard to reach areas in the public primary schools of Kole District; with hope of promoting quality, sustainable and potential education in that very particular schools as well as looking at the means and way forward to address health matters at homes and schools
We this was done, there was a common understanding among parents-teachers at one of the schools in Kole District and parents started to collect food for their children at that particular school. Indeed, within that year the performance of the children change positively and the rate of children falling sick dropped drastically
