Through NOWPDP’s Falah interventions, we provide essential goods and services to persons with disabilities (PWDs) who need them the most.
The welfare of PWDs with mobility impairments is intimately tied with their access to assistive devices such as wheelchairs and hearing aids without which they are unable to venture into the public sphere and access education or employment opportunities. Thus, they remain stuck in a vicious cycle of poverty.
Your generous contributions in the past few months have allowed us to procure 3 wheelchairs which are ready to be distributed to our identified beneficiaries in the coming weeks. We have aligned for the wheelchair handover to take place on the 5th of March.
These wheelchairs will open the doors of opportunity for these three PWDs who will now be able to access opportunities they had hitherto been excluded from. It is only through your donations that we can procure the assistive devices that are desperately required by our beneficiaries for their mobility.
We hope that you can continue to support us as we work towards our mission to dismantle the structures of exclusion and ensure equitable participation of PWDs in our society.
