With your support you have helped us to change the destiny of Fátima who was at risk by attending her integrally to generate skills and abilities that allow her to achieve an independent life as professional woman.

We are excited to tell you that this school year, Fatima started her university studies; we are very proud of her, because every day she gives her best at school and at home.

Fatima is studying Psychology and her commitment to be an independent woman is very big, she loves learning new things, she recently joined "Türish", which means door in German, this is a social business that is part of Puerta Abierta, with these steps she starts her process of independence.

Fatima enjoys reading and talking to new people, always taking the best from people to grow in her human capital.

Dear Donor,

Hi, My name is Kim, I am from Queretaro City and I used to live on the street selling chewing gum until I was taken to Puerta Abierta´s home.. 

I arrived July the 15^th 2021 being 10 years. Two weeks after was my birthday, they celebrated me, I had a birthday cake, it was chocolate and all the girls at home had a slice with me. Now I feel part of this family, they have opened their hearts to me and I feel secure and loved. Lucy and Susan take care of us.

As I had never gone to school it was very difficult to find one for me, I was too old to be in 1^st grade. They talked with  a Montessori school that allowed me to be in their 1^st to 3^rd grade group and they have been very kind and patient. I am doing a lot of work and now I can read and write, my teacher tells me that my handwriting is beautiful. But what I like more is math, I am very good at it.

As I have done so much progress, I am going to be in 5^th grade next year. I love my school, my teachers and my friends. 

I am very exited to be telling you this, I have a loving family now and a good school so I am happy and I will do my best always at home with my chores and at school with my homework.
