Imagine the pain of telling your child there’s nothing to eat tonight. For thousands of parents in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps across Benue State, Nigeria, this is not just a fear—it’s a daily heartbreak. Once thriving farmers, these families have lost everything—homes, fields, livelihoods, and safety—to relentless conflict.
Children who should be learning and laughing in classrooms now face hunger, malnutrition, and deep trauma. Mothers are forced to make unthinkable choices: feed their children today, or stretch a dwindling supply for tomorrow.
Since December 2025, our team has stood alongside displaced families in Makurdi, providing emergency food, vital supplies, and a lifeline of hope. Every food package is more than a meal—it’s a reminder of dignity, a symbol of hope, and proof that these families are not alone.
But the crisis is far from over.
According to the United Nations, nearly 35 million Nigerians may face severe food insecurity during the 2026 lean season—driven by conflict, displacement, soaring prices, and climate shocks. For families in IDP camps, hunger is only getting worse.
You have the power to make a difference.
Your support today can put nutritious food in the hands of hungry children, deliver lifesaving essentials to families in crisis, and offer hope where it’s needed most.
When you give, you’re not just filling an empty plate:
No child should go to bed hungry because of conflict.
Stand with GoGreen today. Join a community that believes compassion changes lives. Together, let’s ensure every displaced family in Benue State receives the hope, care, and support they so urgently deserve.
