Today in Benue State, thousands of children are sleeping on bare floors in overcrowded displacement camps after fleeing violent attacks on their communities. They have lost their homes, farms, schools, and in many cases, loved ones.
Many parents now face the heartbreaking choice between feeding their children or simply waiting and hoping that help arrives.
The humanitarian crisis is rapidly worsening. UNICEF reports that more than 480,000 people remain displaced in Benue State, while the humanitarian needs continue to rise because of conflict and repeated displacement.
Across Nigeria, nearly 35 million people are projected to face acute food insecurity during the 2026 lean season, making this one of the country's worst hunger crises in recent history.
GoGreen is providing emergency food assistance, nutrition support for children, hygiene supplies, safe drinking water, and dignity kits for vulnerable women and girls.
Your gift can provide food for a hungry family, restore hope to a frightened child, and remind displaced communities that they have not been forgotten.
Together, we can turn compassion into lifesaving action.
