When violence forces a family from their home, the suffering does not end when the attack is over.
For families in Otukpo-Nobi community, Benue State, the aftermath means grieving loved ones, displacement, disrupted livelihoods, and uncertainty about where the next meal will come from.
On September 23, 2026, GoGreen stood with some of these families.
With support received through GlobalGiving, we provided 25 vulnerable households with a 25kg bag of rice each, reaching approximately 125 people. For these families, this assistance was more than food. It was reassurance that, in one of the most difficult moments of their lives, they had not been forgotten.
But 25 households are only a fraction of the families who need support.
Many conflict-affected families across Benue continue to struggle with food insecurity and the loss of livelihoods. Parents are trying to provide for their children while rebuilding lives disrupted by violence.
We need your help to reach the next family.
Your donation can help us provide food assistance to more households and give families some stability as they begin the difficult journey toward recovery.
To everyone who made our September distribution possible: thank you. Your generosity reached real families when they needed it.
Now, we are asking you to stand with us again.
They survived the violence. Together, we can help them survive the hunger.
