When violence happens, attention often comes quickly.
But eventually the headlines change.
The cameras leave.
The world moves on.
The affected families cannot.
They continue waking up every morning to the consequences of what happened—lost livelihoods, displacement, grief and the daily responsibility of feeding their families.
This is why GoGreen believes support for conflict-affected communities must continue beyond the immediate aftermath of an attack.
Our donors helped us provide food to 25 households in Otukpo-Nobi.
Now we want to keep going.
Because another family still needs food.
Another parent still needs support.
Another community is still trying to recover.
Please help us ensure that families affected by conflict are remembered not only when their stories make headlines, but throughout their journey toward recovery.
They have not moved on from the crisis. Let us not move on from them.
