For a mother displaced by conflict, every day can bring difficult decisions. Should she spend the little money available on cooking fuel, medicine, soap, or another meal for her children?
These are choices no parent should have to make. Yet for vulnerable families who have lost their livelihoods in Benue State, meeting even basic household needs can become a daily struggle.
Through our Feed Displaced Families in Benue, Nigeria project, GoGreen has been helping families access essential food assistance. But we recognize that meaningful humanitarian support must also consider what happens after food reaches a household.
How will it be prepared?
Can the family afford cooking fuel?
Will there be enough resources left for other necessities?
This is why we are promoting biomass briquettes as part of our broader efforts to make household cooking more affordable and encourage practical community empowerment.
Our hope is that appropriate alternative cooking solutions can reduce some of the financial pressure facing vulnerable families.
For a mother struggling to make ends meet, even a modest reduction in household expenses can make a meaningful difference.
Please help us expand this initiative while continuing to provide food assistance to displaced households.
Your donation can help bring practical relief to families navigating circumstances they never imagined facing.
Because every mother deserves the dignity of preparing a meal for her children without sacrificing another essential need.
