Dear Donors,
Thank you for remembering Nigerian families who have been forced from their homes by violence.
When an attack comes, families do not have time to pack properly.
A mother may grab her children.
A father may carry whatever he can.
And then they run.
Many families have arrived in safer places with little more than the clothes they were wearing. The homes they knew, the farms they depended on and the belongings they worked for may all be left behind.
More than 3.7 million people were internally displaced in Nigeria as of July 2026. Benue alone hosts at least 500,000 displaced people, while several other states continue to receive families escaping violence.
For some of these families, finding food is now a daily struggle.
Some sleep under trees or in makeshift shelters. Others have no proper cooking facilities or safe place to keep their belongings.
This project will provide emergency food, household supplies and temporary shelter to displaced families.
Food items and charcoal stoves will help families prepare meals, while temporary housing will support people who are sleeping in unsafe conditions.
Children, women and older people will receive special consideration.
No family should have to flee violence and then face hunger without help.
Thank you for standing with families who have lost their homes and livelihoods.
Please share this project with others who may want to help.
With gratitude,
Elijah Osagie
