The Bread for Life Team continues to expand, not only in the number that are being served and serving, but in the creative partnerships that are yielding greater giving to more of those in need. Bread for Life loves watching so many of its relationships grow with those in need and being a part of meeting those needs for food, sustainability, and access to hope and options for development. Most recently, the relationships with two partner projects have blossomed. In the hill tribe villages, children are being fed while being part of after school and weekend soccer training and tutoring. Two young, profiecient soccer players have come back to their communities after completing their education with a heart to serve the underprivileged and those that don't have the opportunities that they did. This creative program is bringing a sense of purpose and desire for the kids. Additionally, many children at a local school are receiving nutritious food through loving hands from those in another partnership when so often the staple menu lacks key nutrients. Bringing in fruits, vegetables and protein to supplement are tremendously well received by the students and school staff.
Bread for Life is actively working with some disabled children and families, keeping watch and coming alongside to help meet the unique needs for food, feeding tubes, sanitation equipment for feeding, medical supplies and such. Due to limited access in Thailand, some of these items are imported. The ability to be a part of helping when there are no other options for help is a gift that blesses these families and gives them hope. Not only are the children fed and able to grow, but the families are encouraged through the unique needs that are specifically being met on behalf of their children.
Thank you for your care and support. We are honored to be working to meet needs of those who have no access or finances for basic food supplies.
