Food for Needy Families in Israel

Dear friends,

As we wrap up another quarter, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting hundreds of families every single week. Thanks to your continued generosity, we are now providing personalized food baskets to around 250 families every Friday, with even more meaningful developments in recent months.

This morning, ahead of Rosh Hashana, we prepared and distributed festive holiday baskets to 330(!) families. These larger-than-usual packages included special items for the holiday and brought a sense of celebration and dignity to every home they reached.

We’re also excited to share that dozens of families have now begun using the mobile app we developed, allowing them to choose the items they most need in their weekly basket. This not only helps us tailor each package more effectively, but also reduces waiting time and improves the overall experience for everyone involved.

In preparation for the new school year, we expanded our support to include back-to-school kits, providing children with backpacks, school supplies, and even games and toys to bring a smile to their faces.

Lastly, our monthly community market continues to grow. Once a month, we organize a successful and well-attended giveaway of clothing, kitchenware, and household essentials, open to all families in our program.
