Food parcels for the elderly

By Liliia Cherniavska | Project manager

We sincerely thank every donor for supporting our project. Thanks to your compassion, we have been able to provide assistance to elderly people living alone who find themselves in extremely difficult circumstances due to the war.

During this period, we were able to provide food packages to elderly people living alone. For many of them, this is not just assistance—it is a chance to survive, feel cared for, and not be left alone with their difficulties.

In wartime, older adults are among the most vulnerable segments of the population. Often, they are unable to purchase food on their own, access medical care, or even leave their homes. As noted in humanitarian reports, millions of older adults in Ukraine lack access to basic services and require ongoing support.

Each food package includes basic long-shelf-life items (grains, canned goods, oil, sugar, and other essentials), which ensures a person has food for an extended period. Such assistance is critically important for sustaining the health and lives of people in high-risk areas.

We are sincerely grateful to you for your trust and support. It is thanks to you that this aid is possible.
