Dear friends,
As an organic farm and training facility for young farmers, we continue to try to find various ways to be more financially sustainable so that we are able to continue our mission to expand organic farming practices.
Since last year, the farm has been trialing a variety of mushrooms, especially different types of shiitake mushrooms, to be used as alternatives for plant-based meat. This idea came from our partnership with Indonesia’s leading plant-based F&B chain, Burgreens and their sister company, Green Rebel, who we have worked with for close to 10 years. Green Rebel is Indonesia’s leading plant-based food tech start-up making Asian-flavored plant protein & dairy alternatives.
Our research and development has proven to be successful and we are now looking to scale up our greenhouses in order to produce the quantities of shiitake mushrooms needed by Green Rebel. We would like to invite you to be part of our growth. Your one-time donation (or better yet: your monthly donations!) will help us to build a bigger greenhouse. We are optimistic that this new venture will enable us to be one step closer to fully supporting our social projects.
On a last note, we have a new video and Youtube channel and would love it if you would subscribe or click “like” on our video (link below)!
Have an amazing day,
Your friends at the YUM Organic Farm
