A Farm Where Everything Has a Purpose

Dear friends,

We are excited to share another step toward creating a more integrated and sustainable organic farm.

Following our previous update, we have successfully revived an old, unused fish pond and stocked it with around 1,000 baby gurame (giant gourami). These fish can be fed with vegetable waste from the farm, helping us reduce waste while producing a healthy source of protein.

We are also making great progress on our new organic chicken coop, which is now 80% complete. Once finished, our free-range native chickens will enjoy more than 200m² of outdoor space. They will help make the farm more sustainable by eating surplus organic produce, while their manure will be composted to enrich the soil and support future crops.

Our farm was also proud to take part in Yayasan Usaha Mulia's 50th Anniversary celebration. During the event, we hosted a booth at the farmers market, where visitors could purchase fresh, organically grown vegetables from the farm. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the results of the farm with supporters, introduce more people to our work, and celebrate five decades of empowering communities together.

Thank you for helping us build a farm where every part works together to reduce waste, improve sustainability, and strengthen local food production.

We hope to see you one day at the farm!
