Dear donors,
In 2025, the demand for support for the Tafel network remains high.
Although Germany is one of the richest countries in the world, 14.2 million people live in poverty here. 1.5 million of them regularly visit the food banks.
People in poverty spend most of their income on basic necessities. They usually only have a few euros a day to spend on food. Fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy products become luxury goods that people with limited financial resourcescan rarely afford.
The food banks in Germany are committed to alleviating poverty and making everyday life a little easier for those affected. Their customers receive food, including many fresh goods such as fruit, vegetables, bread and dairy products. The money they save on shopping can be used for other things.
With your donation, you can support the work of the food banks and help to alleviate poverty in Germany.
Your ongoing support means a lot – now and in the future. Thank you very much for your donation!
