Dear respective donors,
Though this project has not yet received support, but the need is urgent. Many pregnant women in Kogi are losing their lives because they cannot afford the cost of a cesarean section. Families are left grieving, and babies are lost simply because safe delivery is out of reach for those without money.
A cesarean section, though common in hospitals, remains unaffordable for poor households in rural and urban slum areas of the state. Without timely surgery, complications such as obstructed labor or prolonged bleeding quickly become fatal. For many women, this is the difference between life and death.
Through this project, we want to cover the costs of cesarean sections for women facing high-risk pregnancies. Every donation will go directly toward providing safe delivery care for mothers who would otherwise be unable to survive childbirth.
We appeal to all prospective donors who come across this project to consider helping. Your kindness can save mothers and babies who are on the edge of losing their lives simply because they cannot afford surgery. Urgent help is needed now more than ever.
With gratitude,
Joy O. Etubi
