Empowering Renal Care: Supporting Patients on their Journey

By Ahmed Raza | Project Leader

We are excited to share with you the remarkable progress made by the Dialysis Department at Al Mustafa Hospital from June to November 2023. With your continuous support, we have been able to provide high-quality care and support to patients in need of renal services completely free of cost. We would like to express our gratitude for your contribution and highlight the impact your generosity has made.

Dialysis Care Excellence:

Our commitment to delivering state-of-the-art dialysis sessions has remained unwavering. Our experienced and skilled healthcare professionals have successfully conducted a total of 878 dialysis sessions over the past six months. These sessions have been instrumental in ensuring that our patients receive the essential renal care they require.

Admission and Consultation:
We take pride in offering prompt admission services, enabling us to admit 122 patients during this period. Each patient receives comprehensive consultations from our dedicated medical team, ensuring personalized care and attention.

Medication and Therapies:
Through your support, we have administered 518 doses of Inj. Erythropoietin and Iron therapy to manage anaemia associated with renal conditions. These treatments have significantly enhanced the quality of life for our patients, addressing iron deficiencies and promoting better overall health.

Routine Checkups:
Regular checkups are crucial in monitoring our patients' health and adjusting treatment plans as needed. We have successfully conducted comprehensive routine checkups, including a range of investigations such as Albumin, Lipid Profile, Urine D/R, and many others. These checkups have allowed us to ensure the holistic well-being of our patients.

Additional Services:
Our compassionate team, in addition to providing medical care, offers emotional and educational support to our patients and their families throughout their treatment journey. We have also conducted health and wellness workshops on stress management, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness to support our patients' mental and emotional well-being.
