Dear donors,
We sincerely thank you for supporting the “Free Glasses for Schoolkids with Poor Sight” project. The donations received so far are enough to provide about 12–13 pairs of reading glasses, but more help is needed to screen children properly and supply glasses to all who require them. Your continued support will allow us to roll out this project fully and reach the many students struggling with poor vision.
Many schoolchildren in public schools cannot see the board clearly, read books, or copy notes accurately. Over 1,500 children in the target areas face this challenge, yet many families cannot afford eye tests or prescription glasses. Without help, these children may be unfairly judged as lazy or inattentive, when the real problem is a simple vision issue that can be corrected.
This project will provide 1,500 vision screenings and supply 500 prescription eyeglasses to children in need. Trained health workers will visit schools, check eyesight, and fit glasses that match each child’s prescription. Children will also receive guidance on caring for their glasses to ensure they last and continue to improve learning.
With proper vision, children can participate more confidently in class, complete homework accurately, and engage fully in school activities. This simple support can boost their learning outcomes, self-confidence, and reduce the risk of dropping out due to preventable challenges.
Every contribution will help more children see clearly and succeed in school. Your assistance can turn what seems like a small gift into a life-changing opportunity for a student struggling to learn.
Kind regards,
