To improve the access of internally displaced students to the school, the Global NEEED Burkina Association has built a building with four classrooms equipped with tables, benches, desks and chairs. This building was offered free of charge to the town hall of the commune of Ouahigouya on behalf of the Wendpengré primary school in the presence of the educational community. Indeed, with the massive arrival of internally displaced persons, the school's enrollment has practically doubled. For a classroom of 60 students maximum, we ended up with 150 or even 170 students. Four students are seated on a two-seater bench table, some are seated on the floor. Other students are concentrated in classrooms “under straw huts”. It is in this context that Global NEEED Burkina, supported by its American partner BFGEF, has produced this jewel for the happiness of students and teachers.
