Respected Donors,
Seasons Greeting...!
The devastated floods during the last year in Pakistan rendered millions of people homeless and they are living under the open sky for the last four months. The projects from “Mud Hut to Home” has been diverted to the rehabilitation of flood affectees of Sindh.
Tharparkar is one of the remotest and poor areas of Thar and a large part of it consists of deserts with no barren lands. CHCS with the collaboration of GlobalGiving Foundation is already digging wells for the drought-hit population of Thar which are providing safe drinking water to thousands of animals and humans of Thar.
"From Mud Hut to Home" project is progressing slowly. However, the homes are being made and handed over to the families of poor people of Thar who are happily living in these bricked-walled houses. CHCS intends to build more houses for the poor hut dwellers of Thar in Pakistan in order to meet this objective. Though CHCS is regularly building houses for the poor people of Tharparkar from its own sources, more funds are required for the projects, the donors across the globe are requested to donate generously in order to build more houses for the flood affectees of Sindh.
Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah,
