From Despair to Dignity: From Hut to Home Dear Valued Donors, Last year’s floods left millions displaced across Pakistan, particularly in Tharparkar. In response, CHCS expanded its efforts, constructing deep-water wells and continuing the “From Hut to Home” project. By 2024, dozens of durable brick houses replaced fragile mud huts, offering families safety and dignity. Each home represents a fresh start where children can sleep without fear and families can live with stability. But the journey continues. Thousands remain homeless or trapped in unsafe shelters.
