Hi, thank you so much for your financial support for this vital Project for the work of Kimbilio in caring for children living on the streets in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The need for a new purpose-built Day Centre is pressing as the current Day Centre in the cathedral building in Lubumbashi is at full capacity and we are seeing increasing numbers of children attending with more complex needs such as drug dependency. The Kimbilio team of carers need a bigger building with the facilities to be able to deal with all the different needs of the children living on the streets.
We are actively looking for funding to commence the first stage of the project, which is the building of the ground floor of the new Day Centre, so that we can start the work as soon as possible.
