Our vocational sewing program continues to be a powerful tool for family stabilization. Thanks to your incredible support, 24 mothers successfully completed their sewing training last year. Armed with their new skills, these mums are now earning a sustainable income by creating new clothing and providing alteration services within their communities.
When parents lack the means to support their families, children often end up on the streets. By equipping these mothers with a viable trade, your generosity ensures they can now afford to feed, shelter, and safely raise their children at home—permanently breaking the cycle of poverty.
Because the demand for economic independence remains high, we are thrilled to share that another training course is officially underway! A new cohort of mothers is currently learning the craft, eager to gain the financial independence needed to secure their children's futures.
Maintaining a hands-on training program requires a steady supply of sewing machines, fabrics, threads, and expert instruction. The funds donated to this GlobalGiving project are vital to keeping these classes running without interruption. Your continued support enables us to empower more families, transitioning them from survival to self-sufficiency. Thank you for making this vital work possible!
