Thanks to your support, we have already raised $6 700 of our $20 000 goal — enough to cover the equivalent cost of more than three two-week rehabilitation cycles at Superhumans.
But what happens during those two weeks?
Patients rebuild muscle strength, learn to use their prostheses, practice walking on stairs and outdoors, and regain independence in everyday life.
The number of rehabilitation cycles each patient needs depends on the complexity of their injuries. Three cycles might support one person through a longer recovery or several people at different stages.
But one thing is certain: thanks to your support, people have already made their first attempts to walk again. And behind every attempt are hours of hard work, determination and hope.
Our $20 000 goal is equivalent to almost 10 rehabilitation cycles. We are already one-third of the way there.
The first steps are just the beginning. Let's keep going.
