Chuluun is a 10-year-old (the fourth grade) student. He's a twin to his sister. His mother separated with her first cohabiting partner after two children born. By entering a second cohabitation, Chuluun and his twin sister were born, however, Chuluun’s father died because of an acute illness in 2009 and they became a single parent family as a low income household. His mother was a leather goods maker who had unstable income to raise 4 children. Thus, they moved to Chuluun’s uncles’ ger and all children were able to go to school finally by receiving the assistances from Chuluun’s two uncles in 2010.
“I have been sewing for many years and caused serious damage to my vision as well. However, I wanted to give a good livelihood to my children, I worked hard and decided to get a loan from the bank for our own land and ger purchase in 2017. However, it was my own tragic times of despair when our home burned down and completely destroyed in March this year. It’s also give me an opportunity to see hope in time of despair, and I am thankful to God for having my family members all safe and receiving all assistances of TFCF Mongolia timely. Thank you for your donation and TFCF’s support to provide a new ger to us quickly this April. With immediate help, it released the financial burden and gave a warm home to my family. Your donation and support have changed our living tremendously in Mongolia. Thank you very much!”

Giving Hope in Time of Despair
TFCF has started to assist Chuluun’s family since 2012 and it’s a family with four children raised by a single mother. Periodically, our social workers visit assisted children and families and give the assistance and support to them. Thank you for your partnership and donation! You are giving hope in time of despair to them. I’m so grateful to you for all that you’ve done for needy children and families in Mongolia. This year, we are going to budget 13 new gers and support 12 households to repair their gers. We will continue to support more children and families in Mongolia through this project.
Wish you all the best!
With gratitude,
Wen Hung
