Update on ‘Geriatric Care Specialist Development Program’
(Project # 64097 from Balajothi Centre for the Disabled)
Funding goal :$10,00,000 / Funds raised to date :$ 512.
Project Report due date : May 17, 2026  / Report sent on April 13, 2026

Balajothi Centre for the Disabled Trust, a non-profit organization based in Bengaluru, India, believes in the essential role of creating well-trained caregivers to provide quality service and dignity of life to seniors in their last days. We seek to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, to pursue fulfilling careers in geriatric care through comprehensive training and support. We also aim to enhance seniors' quality of life by promoting home care-giving as a viable career option.

We firmly believe and promote this ambitious program as we have come across many families who are in dire need of such service. Please join this program and make yourselves the saviors of elderly and needy senior citizens who are struggling with such a need. Selected candidates will be provided in-house theoretical and practical training, entirely free, at the end of which they will return to their villages and apply themselves in serving the seniors and the profoundly disabled persons. These candidates will be paid stipend during training and salary on completion.

We thank YOU, DEAR DONOR, for your continued support for this project with your valuable donation of $ 512.  The budget for this ambitious program is $ 10,00,000.  We hope this funding support will grow in the days to come.

Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for their tireless efforts in raising funds for worthwhile projects, worldwide, even during this period of turmoil and epidemics.
