Clean Birth Kits for IDP Mothers - Project Update

By Joy Ojochogwu Etubi | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for your support towards the Gift 4,000 Birth Kits to Expectant Mothers in IDPs project. Your contribution reflects compassion and concern for pregnant women living in displacement camps who face serious childbirth risks.

This project aims to provide 4,000 clean birth kits containing essential items such as gloves, sterile blades, cord clamps, gauze, soap, and delivery mats. These kits are designed to help reduce infections and improve safe delivery practices for mothers and newborns in difficult living conditions.

At present, although donations have been received, the available funds are not yet sufficient to begin project implementation. Procurement, packaging, and distribution activities are currently pending while we continue to mobilize additional support.

We remain committed to launching this lifesaving project and will provide progress updates as soon as implementation begins. Additional support will help ensure that vulnerable mothers in displacement camps receive safe delivery supplies.

Thank you for your continued trust and generosity.

Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
