Fight Period Poverty and Keep Girls in School during their Period

By Remmie Bishanga | Project Manager

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your generous contribution towards our Girls for School Project. Your support has enabled us to begin the initial stages of implementation.

Since receiving the funds, we have made progress in community engagement and project preparation. We have managed to reach 200 girls, boy and women women through awareness sessions and discussions on menstrual health and the importance of access to safe, reusable sanitary products. These interactions have reinforced the urgent need for affordable menstrual hygiene solutions and highlighted the challenges many girls face in staying in school during their periods.

The project continues to receive positive interest from the community, and we are preparing for the next phase, which includes training women to produce reusable sanitary pads and expanding menstrual health education. While the current funding has provided an important start, additional resources will enable us to reach more girls and provide sustainable menstrual hygiene solutions.

Thank you for believing in our mission to fight period poverty and keep girls in school. We look forward to sharing further progress as the project grows.

Thank you for your gener contribution of USD 37 toward our Reusable Sanitary Pads Project. Your support has enabled  the initial stages of impitary products.
