By Blanca Figueroa | Project Leader
Dear supporters,
May and June have been quite busy months. On June 5th Peru elected the new President of the Republic.
Members of five groups of teenage and young adult domestic workers, trained and assessed by AGTR, gathered at La Casa de Panchita and reflected on what they wanted to do ask the new president. We would like to share with you the hopes of those children who work "at home".
Since 2009 we have worked with them and they not only come frequently to LCP but motivate other girls to participate in our activities. We feel proud of their ability to express their ideas and feelings. These are their messages full of hope:
We would like to thank you for your support in raising funds towards ensuring a safe space for child domestic workers in Lima, Peru!
Sincerely,
Blanca Figueroa
