A Tale of Hope and Progress

By Elyzaveta Bagriy | Fund development growth associate

The lives of Maxim, Anastasia, Andriy, and Boris took a heartbreaking turn in 2020 when they lost their mother to a liver disease. Their father, who worked abroad before the war, returned to Ukraine as soon as the war began, joining the National Guard as a volunteer. His dedication to his country was unwavering, but tragically, he lost his life in the Luhansk region during a combat mission. Now, the children are under the care of their grandparents, continuing their journey through life with courage and resilience.

The Children of Heroes Charity Foundation stepped in to ensure that these children were not left without support. Maxim, a senior year student, received a laptop essential for his studies, while Anastasia was gifted a tablet. The family also received presents from the foundation and its partners, a testament to the community's solidarity and care.

With your generosity, we can help more children like Maxim, Anastasia, Andriy, and Boris to navigate through their challenges and seize the opportunities for growth and development. Each donation not only brings warmth to those in dire need but also lays the groundwork for a future filled with hope.

To this date, 1,801 children have benefited from receiving laptops or tablets for remote studying from Children of Heroes since March 2022. This initiative is not just about providing gadgets; it's about opening doors to education, therapy, and the endless possibilities that knowledge brings. Many families struggle to afford these essential tools.

By contributing to this project, you're not just donating a laptop or tablet; you're investing in the future of children who have faced unimaginable losses. Your support helps them break through barriers, master digital skills crucial for today's world, and embark on paths leading to brighter futures. Each donation is a step towards transforming lives, offering these young souls a chance at a prosperous tomorrow.

We have reached our goal for this particular project and are excited to share a comprehensive report with you soon. Your continued support makes a significant difference, enabling us to provide these young minds with the tools they need for success. Together, we're building a stronger, more resilient generation.
